When did we start?
A brief history of Cirrus
The first freelances were medieval mercentaries; Cirrus Consulting is a little younger, created in 1999 and relaunched in 2007. Having spent time working for multinationals,
global consulting firms, and local niche companies, the principals realised that the way forward lies with individuals. Those
individuals have built up a portfolio of skills over many years, and are looking to combine interesting and rewarding
work (in every sense) with a lifestyle that allows time for family, fun and learning.
We believe that the best work is done by
independent consultants, and trying to organise them into company structures detracts from the end result. It took us a while
to work this out, so we have spent many years consulting to companies all over the world in the meantime. Now our clients
are benefiting directly from that experience.
